    A paper about the central question of this SIG: thje relatioshipo between Meta-Worry, Worry, and Anxiety. This time in children and adolescents. Esbjørn and his cooperators have shown that the metacognitive variable "Negative Beliefs about Worry" emerged as the strongest predictor of worry and a stronger predictor of anxiety than the any other cognitive and metacognitive process. In addition, it emerges that children with GAD have significantly higher levels of deleterious metacognitions than anxious children without GAD and nonanxious children
